Timing in at 17 pages, the first draft of what will hopefully become my first legitimate short film is done. It’s pretty darn rough, to be sure, and there’s some cheating (like dialogue that goes “Something really cool is being said here,” but it’s a start.

Chris said he’s game to cowrite, and I just shot it his way. Hopefully, after reading it, he doesn’t reconsider.

In the meantime, I’ve been doing research into the technical and business aspects of making a short film. Everything from HD vs. film to whether or not to incorporate. Sheesh. But some of the various players are already interested, and I’m waiting until the script gets a bit further along before I start seriously asking people if they wanna be involved.
