The toughest thing about this film is keeping it in my head the lead is Anthony Hopkins. He looks nothing like himself (he’s pretty young), and my head would randomly attach someone else to him. Otherwise, it’s pretty fun. Kinda creepy.

Anthony Hopkins is a struggling magician who “discovers” a gimmick to send his act over the top. A ventriloquist dummy.

But this one seems to have a mind of his own. Or is it just part of Hopkins’ mind? Or all of it? They do a good job of making it seem something’s off with the doll. Then making it seem it might be sentient. Or that Hopkins is insane. It’s well done.
