The first of back-to-back, old-school horror with legends behind the FX. I was actually surprised how decent this was, especially for when it was made. Could this benefit from a remake? What? There was one (goes to check out a trailer) Well, shit, that looks bad. Like really bad. Like I thought there were scenes from the original in there.

At any rate, this one is a bit slow in places. Vic Morrow overacts in that ’70s way that bled into the ’80s. But Rob Bottin’s creatures were AWESOME! And I was surprised how much blood there was. And nudity. And rape by monster. There are some good bits in this film. It just wasn’t quite good enough or bad enough to be truly memorable.
