After retiring their current spokesperson, we were looking for a new one. In the process, we encountered a few "unusual" candidates, inspiring the idea of the worst possible spokespeople.
For filming, I suggested following Roger Deakins' style of shooting dialogue for the Coen Brothers' movies as analyzed in this Every Frame a Painting. This and using two cameras to record both actors simultaneously allowed for quick resets and a lot of improvisation. Casting Walt Turner (with whom I've worked on two short films) was also smart move to get the comedy flowing.
