Not sure why I didn’t love this. Decent slow burn fantasy/horror set in a gritty realism — just like Pan’s Labyrinth. Everything was right here, it just didn’t click for me.

It might have been too many fantasy elements (the stuffed tiger coming to life, the dragon coming out of the phone, the blood trail…). It might have been that it felt like a Pan’s Labyrinth rip off. It might have been too convoluted for me to get the first time through. It was good. I just didn’t connect for some reason.
