d.Fine printed a biannual catalog that I was responsible for art directing. The first catalog featured the clothes from each designer in a controlled composition with one element extending across the spread.
I convinced the client to up the budget to include models, since I felt the clothes were more appealing in context.
Eventually, the catalog evolved to be less about the abstract clothing presentations and more about selling the upscale nature of the clothes by shooting on location throughout Bellagio (where one of the stores is located).
