When we got the chance to do a series of ads for ACLU Nevada, it was exciting and frustrating. While the door was open to do something controversial, we had no money to execute the ideas. Also, we wanted to give the ads a local slant that wasn't about casinos and the Strip.
Chris Smith and I came up with the idea of working street names into the headlines, something that would show it was truly a local campaign. The challenge was coming up with four streets that were both well known and worked into a headline.
I shot the images and worked Chris' words to match the font and perspective of the signs.
