With over 20 years of experience in graphic design—both advertising and editorial—as well as copywriting, broadcast production, interactive, motion graphics, film and anything else that catches his fancy, Michael's versatility is astounding. Widely versed in the needs and demands of the hospitality industry, Michael has also created campaigns for clients such as UMC and Ed Bernstein.
Michael started as a Production Artist and worked his way up through the ranks. This "in the trenches" knowledge has kept him true to his roots, understanding what all positions in a creative department go through to relate and find more productive ways of working. At MGM Resorts, Michael started as a Senior Designer, promoted to Creative Manager in six months and then to Creative Director a year and a half later.
Working with copywriters, clients, account folks, technicians in broadcast or interactive media, Michael is always amazed and inspired by the talent to which he's exposed and has proven to be a champion of collaboration and a true partner in every project. A founding member of AIGA Las Vegas, Michael often shares his knowledge through portfolio reviews and lectures.
Always looking for new challenges, Michael made his directorial debut at CineVegas in 2007 with the short film, "The Bet" to critical acclaim. His follow up, "Money Shot," premiered at Pollygrind. He has also directed a music video for "Hallway" and written two novels and a collection of short stories.
